Colossus research materials are presented for qualified laboratory research, not human or veterinary use. Educational articles and arithmetic tools do not provide treatment, administration or personal-use instructions.
A label does not answer every question
A research-use statement does not establish safety, clinical efficacy or approval. FDA warning letters illustrate that a product’s overall presentation and intended use matter; a disclaimer does not resolve contradictory treatment-oriented promotion.
Document the actual research context
Keep the institutional purpose, material identity, responsible personnel and applicable handling records together. Read each source in its own context: an analytical report, an animal experiment and a human study answer different questions. Avoid replacing the original methods with a supplier’s marketing description.
Regulatory references have defined scopes
21 CFR 312.160 addresses specified investigational uses in laboratory research animals or in vitro tests and sets conditions within that scope. It is not a general authorization for personal use, and this guide does not determine a reader’s legal obligations.
See the site’s disclaimer, research access information and testing guide. Material-specific documents and the applicable institutional procedures remain necessary.
