Concentration

Mass concentration expresses mass per solution volume, for example mg/mL. The identity and reporting basis of the input mass remain separate from the arithmetic.

Reading example

Five milligrams in a final volume of ten milliliters gives 0.5 mg/mL. Use final solution volume; do not assume it equals added solvent. The result does not prove dissolution or stability.
